A janitor’s job is to maintain a clean and healthy environment in a facility. Their responsibility is to ensure that all the interior and exterior areas of a facility are new. Their duties include:

1. General cleaning of the building
2. Ensuring that the cleanliness is maintained during all times

To perform the above duties, a janitor does mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing restrooms, taking out the trash and recycling and cleaning mirrors and windows.
